How does the quick scan differ from the full audit?
The quick scan is free and looks only at the home page on a simulated phone: four Lighthouse scores, key metrics and a dozen basic checks. The full audit adds desktop measurements, a WCAG accessibility test on subpages, up to 150 links checked, full security and SEO analysis and, above all, a prioritised fix list written for humans, delivered as a PDF report.
How is this different from free PageSpeed Insights?
PageSpeed shows raw speed data for one page. Webskan combines speed with SEO, security, accessibility and links, and, most importantly, turns the results into a prioritised task list a business owner understands and a developer can act on.
Do you need access to my site?
No. We check your site exactly as a visitor or Google sees it. Nothing is installed or changed.
Who does the audit?
The whole process is automated: measurements come from trusted open-source tools (Lighthouse, axe-core) plus our own HTTP/SEO checks, and the prioritised fix list is written by an AI model based on your results. That is why the report is ready within an hour and costs $29 rather than the thousands an agency audit does.
My site requires a login / is under construction
We only audit publicly reachable sites. If a site is unreachable or blocks automated testing and the report cannot be produced, we refund in full.
What if I have a complaint about the report?
Reply to the e-mail the report came with. Complaints are handled within 14 days in line with EU consumer law – see the terms.
